Seventy Two Kitchen & Patio celebrates grand opening at MacDonald Island Park
Seventy Two Kitchen & Patio marks its grand opening on June 10, 2021, as indoor and outdoor dining return under Stage 2 of the Government of Alberta “Open for Summer” plan.
Seventy Two is located on the second floor of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park and features a patio overlooking the Miskanaw Golf Club course, as well as an indoor dining area that has undergone a creative renovation to develop a space that is perfect for every casual meal or special celebration.
Decorated to reflect and honour 1972 and the establishment of the Miskanaw Golf Club, Seventy Two presents a fresh menu combining established favourites with a twist and new additions destined to join the ranks of MacDonald Island Park culinary classics.
“Our goal was to create a dining experience at the Island that pairs a retro vibe with modern cuisine,” said Kelly Dela Ronde, Director of Marketing and Community Engagement at the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC). “The atmosphere, food and service at Seventy Two Kitchen & Patio encompass what everyone loves about the Island – it’s a place to connect with family, friends and colleagues. At Seventy Two, guests can do that over a drink or meal while they sit back and enjoy the view outdoors on the patio or cozy up indoors by the fireplace.”
Effective Thursday June 10, 2021, Seventy Two is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. For more information on Seventy Two, please visit Seventy Two Kitchen & Patio
